Charming Little 1930s Oak Book Side Table
Such an accommodating size and a little unusual in design surviving from the 1930s and found in a large rectory this side book table is rather appealing.
We have placed books on the table however it could easily be used for your morning cuppa, be loaded up with remotes or maybe a big glass of red wine. The tone of the oak is very attractive and we would assume a true one off rather than a production line piece. It sits firm with no wobbles and only showing gentle day to day wear. We would say cared for rather than left to go damp in a shed.
A nice piece of small 1930s British furniture ready to place.
