1930s Vintage Industrial Oak Desk Chair New Leather Seat
Presented in good order, having survived from around the late 1930s, this oak desk chair is looking a treat and was part of a selection from a local office.
The oak frame is in good order with the usual daily usage marks on those well shaped arms, uniformed slightly curved front legs and frame. The lightly curved deep top rail ensures that it is comfortable to sit in.
Workshop report – The frame is in great order with no repairs, we have lightly waxed it. We have replaced the knackered webbing with new and added a lovely grained olive green leather hide seat which is secured with tarnished studs – so the seat is perfect for another 100 years or so and that leather will age wonderfully with use...
A great looking English desk chair with a great profile.
