Vintage Tansad Workshop Swivel Machinist’s Work Chairs
Tan-Sad began life in 1922 in Birmingham and was first publicly listed as an exhibitor at the British Industries Fair, selling typists tables, constructional toys, motorcycle chairs, perambulators and office and factory chairs and this one is known as the “Victor True Posture Chair”.
Nice to see a pair and also with the less common black frames rather than green. These were found in a Black Country workshop and have very similar pleasing untouched wear to the frames and the tough as old boots vulcanised board seat and backs remain in place with wear and marks of course.
Both stools are rotating fine and you can adjust the seat and back height to your preference. We have lightly cleaned the chairs and are ready for work.
Classic 1950s British Work chairs in black for a change.
Price is for 1 delivered, not both.
Dimensions - Seat Height at Highest 65.5cm and at Lowest 50cm x Width 38cm x Depth 44.5 and Seat Depth 29cm
