Extremely useful and somewhat stylish pair of painted boxes which we purchased along with several other boxes from The Air Ministry.
Both boxes/chests are strong in construction with no faults except a little wear and tear from their industrial usage. The boxes have their original shackle, chain and pins which are hefty giving the pieces a bit of extra clout. The tops have hinges giving access to the inside and they would not look out of place in a variety of settings, perfect for storage or side tables.
As mentioned the boxes are ready to go and always great to have a pair. The price is for the pair.
