Victorian Walnut and Sycamore Chest of Drawers C1880
A rather moody looking Victorian Chest of Drawers in Walnut with what we believe to be raised panels of burr sycamore, could be oak on the 4 graduated drawers. We like the stance on this one - upright, handsome and of a good height.
It survives from around 1880, is English and pretty much untouched, so the heavy looking handles are in situ and tarnishing well. The walnut frame and top do have marks and bumps but to be honest it works well. A few of the drawers are marked on the inside, all harmless and historic rather than fresh. Smells fine with old veneer loss to the front plinth base.
Great for the bedroom, hallway or to load up and place in the living room.
Dimensions - Overall: Height 101.5cm x Width 105.5cm x Depth 51cm
