Arts and Crafts Oak Desk Library Chair
Surviving in rather wonderful glowing condition this desk chair from around 1910 has a gentle hint of Arts & Crafts about it. It’s got that look which some don't and the condition is spot on – used but not knackered.
It’s of modest construction with the star of the show being those front legs. The oak is well toned and it sits with no alterations.
Workshop report – the chair is firm with no wobbles and no movement in the arms. The seat and back do have wear but no holes and are perfectly good to use. We have very lightly waxed the oak and ensured it’s ready for use.
A great looking British oak desk/library chair.
