Pretty Victorian Parlour Drawing Room Chair C1860
This very attractive, petite Victorian iron framed chair sits in a wonderfully tatty condition, but would sit fantastically well as is or worthy of a full reupholstery.
It’s a quality little chair with castors stamped Cope and Collinson Patent. These were only fitted to the best furniture of the time and here they sit at the end of these fine shaped front legs... The overall shape is well formed with that rather elegant flare to the rear.
Condition wise it's good – the springs are fine and new webbing and stitching to the underneath means you could, by all means use her as is. The fabric is clinging on in places but that just adds to the charm and beauty.
An elegant little Victorian Chair.
