A modest looking, early 18TH Century dark oak table which we would assume benefited from the addition of a mirror sometime in its history, possibly around the late 1900s. We like the look and with its simple angular lines would fit well into both older and more modern homes. Possesses an air of Rennie Macintosh about it…
The table is firm in structure with no wobbles or repairs. The mirror is pleasantly foxed and marked as is the table overall. The oak is dark and rich in colour we would say “dark chocolate”. The little front drawer is running freely and the mirror pivots well on its little brass handles.
The table would fit and look great in a hallway or sitting room however would also like fine in a bedroom.
