This 1920s oak cabinet is a lovely item with a pleasing oak colour showing some nice ageing and is free of splits or cracks.
There are 9 sliding shelves within the cabinet which are oak capped, has its key and good looking original iron handle, setting it off well. The sliding door is working fine and it’s very much ready to go.
This one was purchased in Norfolk along with a good mix of pieces including weirdly a set of Harrods Bathroom Scales! There are plenty of tambour door cabinets around at the moment, this is a good one with the right colour and look due to its age. We have given it a coating of crystalline polish to keep it looking smart giving it a pleasing sheen rather than the “Bling” look!
