Unusual Late Victorian Oak Chair with Tablet Arm
Not something you see every day and surviving in a wonderful un-messed with condition and made with a right hander in mind - so that’s me out of the running - still tempted by such a great looking stylish chair.
The chair would have once been used by a student or scholar with the right arm having a fixed oak tablet - a great size for a beer, glass of wine or cup of tea. It survives in great order – no sways or movement in the turned oak frame just pleasing day to day wear.
A cracking little late Victorian oak chair.
