Late 19th Century Captains Bow Seat Smokers Armchair
This is an antique, bow-back chair, referred to as a “Smoker's or Captain's chair” is in a wonderful historic condition. No re-polish or paint job for this Derbyshire farmhouse find.
We love this one – lots of wear, historic marks to the legs and fame and a great lived in look. The chair sits well with lots of interesting aging and a well turned back.
Workshop report – The chair is sitting firm with the usual desirable wear to the seat and frame. We have lightly cleaned the chair and it sits in unspoilt farmhouse condition. Smells fine.
A fab country chair ready to enjoy.
