Vintage 1960s Mcintosh Teak Dining Table & 6 Chairs
A one owner set and with a seat combo of 4 plus 2 matching carvers, always a bonus, and surviving in well cared for condition. The table also benefits from having 2 extra leaves which are tucked away under the main top making it a useful size for extra guests. The chairs are the rather wonderfully designed 9434’s and they match up superbly with the solid teak matching table. These sets still represent excellent value and are a good investment.
Workshop report –The chair frames have been lightly repolished and checked over, so no wobbles but expect day to day light knocks, marks and bumps. The seats are in their original boucle fabric. The set benefits from careful use so the table is firm - no repairs or wobbles one or two marks and blemishes but nothing new with an even grain and good colour. The table edges are smooth and dent free with the scissor action working fine on the extending pieces. You have the option of having the seats reupholstered at a cost of £25 per seat plus fabric – please contact us after purchase to discuss if you wish to go down that route.
