1920s Attractive Bergere Armchair We Have a Pair
Very attractive and presented in good order with the all-important canework break and repair free and the seats newly upholstered in a floral pattern with birds in varying shades of cornflower blue and stone, so ready to place and chill in.
These are so easy to place – not too big and clumsy like some can be – summer house, living room, holiday home, bedroom the list is endless... They are of a relatively modest look but that works well with the nicely turned front legs and those slender shaped arms.
Workshop report – The frames are historically worn but not knackered, with pleasing wear to the arms. The cane work is perfect with no breaks or splits. The seats are upholstered in a new good quality fabric and the springs are good with new lining underneath to keep them smart and tidy. We have lightly waxed the frames giving them a light sheen.
A good looking 1920s armchair – we have two matching if you fancy a pair.
The price is for one not the pair.
Dimensions - Overall: Height 84.5cm x Width 60cm x Depth 72cm
Dimensions - Specifically the Seat: Height 40cm x Width 50-44cm (Front to Rear) x Depth 59cm
