Good 1970s Vintage Leather Pieff Gamma Swivel Chair
Having enjoyed one previous owner, this Gamma Pieff swivel chair is presented in good vintage condition in a rich chocolate coloured leather.
We sell a great deal of Pieff furniture and this one is a little uncommon and was produced in smaller numbers compared to other shapes. The quality and style is always there with Pieff – having sold in Harrods etc. We particularly like the way the dense chrome base lifts slightly on the chair. The leather cushions fit snugly into the angled polished frame.
Workshop report – The chrome has been cleaned and polished. The chocolate coloured leather is nourished with a good quality leather cream and the swivel base lubricated. The chrome is shining well – no cracks or repairs. The Pirelli rubber diaphragm is sitting as it should. The leather has no rips, repairs or open cracks, just nice wear and a little vintage marking to the arms. The chair possesses that lived in look without looking or feeling knackered...
