Good British Vintage Industrial 4 Door Locker C1940
Staggeringly good patina on this rather handsome looking British 4 door locker by Constructors of Birmingham and found in a Cheshire workshop.
Perched on little steel legs this pressed metal locker with its makers transfer on the front is in such great original condition, the names are still in place of the engineers who used it last, the wear around the edges is fab, time has let the grey paintwork wear and fade away, peeking out in places. We love those vents on the front of the doors and it comes with its working locks and keys to boot.
Workshop report – It survives in great order. We have cleaned the interiors of the lockers, cleaned and lightly waxed the outside and sealed the back so it’s ready to place and use. The locks are working with 2 keys each, the door sticks a bit on one of the lockers but not a game changer. Overall a super vintage locker which sits steady and firm.
