Marvellous Pair of 1960s Vintage Chrome Legged Armchairs Good Look

Always so much more accommodating as a pair these vintage chairs C1960 are in remarkable condition. Many of these chairs suffer from stained fabric, rips, burn marks or badly pitted chrome however these are void of all of the above making them ready to use and a cut above the norm.
They just made chairs better in the good old days! The chrome plating was denser, the fabric a far higher quality and the construction made to last. These days a similar chair may come in a box with a list of instructions and a pile of screws and you are required to build it yourself only to find that it wobbles, does not look like the one in the catalogue or even worse that critical final screw is missing…
Back to the chairs - the fabric edges towards a lovely thick tweed rather than a plain flat fabric and its weave of oatmeal, coffee, cream colouring freckled with the odd dash of orange and mustard is incredibly retro apart from being very clean with no marks or tears. The chrome legs, as mentioned, are all as they should be with only minor wear, no wobbles, no bends and no corrosion. We would assume that these had a charmed life rather than heavy wear.
They possesses a good vintage profile and form and are easy to sit on being well padded and very comfortable. These would look fabulous in an apartment, maybe in a bedroom or the reception of a stylish office.
