Set of 4 Good 1930s Vintage Dining Chairs Lattice Backs
A very decent set of 4 matching 1930s oak dining chairs with a great look – a cut above the norm. Whether it be the lattice oak back, the bulbous shaped front legs, the slight wave to the sides of the seats or the little carved fruit sitting at the back – they are rather nice.
Workshop report – these survive in great original condition. The chairs are firm with no wobbles or sways. A little historic worm to one of the legs on one which we have treated but not a concern. The original grained Rexine seats in British racing green are firm with one little nick in one only – hardly noticeable. We have lightly waxed the chair frames. Expect sensible day to day wear. They smell fine and are of a good weight.
A great classic set of good quality 1930s British dining chairs – would like great around a table or scattered around the home.
