1970s Vintage Mid Century Sideboard by WH Healy High Wycombe
Slick and sleek and in such good quality from top to toe - we purchased this from a photographic studio in Cumbria.
The sideboard dates from 1975 is true to the era with fine lines, is well designed and possesses that sharp look. It was made by Healy WH Limited, 19th and 20th century furniture makers, London Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire which in its heyday, was the second largest furniture making town in the UK.
It would certainly have been top end in the furnishing of the office department – we are talking high shine chrome legs and bottom frame, 5 height adjustable legs, neat brushed steel door pulls, matched veneered sliding doors, height adjustable interior shelves and an overall weight which matches the look.
The sideboard sits at a sensible height which works well for either the home or office...
Condition wise we would say very good – no deep scratches to the top, fronts or sides with the edges retaining their sharpness – just showing the odd mark or two from sensible day to day use, no pitting to the chrome, no pieces missing and no repairs, they still look fresh when many do not…. No key for the lock however but not affecting the sliding doors.
Dimensions – Overall: Height 73cm x Width 183cm x Depth 46cm
