Two Robin Day For Hille Swivel Programme Chairs in White
Seldom seen, a pair of polypropylene ‘Programme’ armchairs in white with chrome pedestal base and chestnut brown covers to the seats designed c.1967 by Robin Day for Hille.
These chairs are not only great looking with thoughtful design but very comfortable. Design wise they are truly standing the test of time, Robin Day designed some fab chairs. These would not look out of place in any era of home or office.
Workshop report – The chairs are in good vintage condition. The white polypropylene seats are crack free. We do have a few nicks and a loosened seam on the chestnut coloured covers – but both historic, not ugly and not game changers. The bases are firm, spinning fine with one having a weld repair on one of the four star bases – not visable if you place at the rear and not affecting the use.
Super 1960s swivel armchairs from Hille.
Price is for one delivered not the pair.
