Small Walnut Art Deco Stylish Writing Desk
Presented in a rather nice original condition, this little desk C1950s echoes the Art Deco period well. It’s well equipped for a desk of small proportions - 4 drawers to the right, a long drawer over the knee hole space and a very useful sliding shelf which sits at the top of the flight of 4 drawers.
As mentioned the desk is presented in good original condition with all the little turned knobs in place, showing day to day usage marks and knocks with the brown tooled leather top in situ and no repairs.
Workshop report – This one survives in decent order. The original tooled leather top is hole and rip free. The drawers are running smoothly and are clean inside with the original knobs in situ. We do have a few chips on the walnut close to the knee hole and at the base on one side along with marks to the sides – all historic not fresh.
A handsome British desk prefect for the smaller space.
