Handsome Early 20th Century English Oak Chest Of Drawers
A fine looking chest of 5 drawers in a good tone of oak from around the start of the 20th Century. This one is sitting nicely and of good proportions with the traditional arrangement of 2 top half drawers and 3 graduated long drawers sitting underneath.
It’s in good condition with the age tarnished brass swan neck handles all in place and the oak of a pleasing grain and tone. The top does have wear with some age marks but nothing ugly. The drawer runners have been waxed and cleaned and the inside of the drawers are clean with only a few marks. It sits firm with no wobbles.
This one is of the right proportions to not only sit in a bedroom, but also in a hallway or living room.
An attractive English solid oak chest of drawers.
