Leather Gladstone Bag The Property of Doctor Rowling C1910
Tremendous find - the bag of Doctor Rowling which survives in great historic condition. We assume the Doctor was a dapper chap – the bag is very stylish with good quality leather and brass hardware used.
It survives in very good order. The Epi leather covering the bag’s rigid frame is good with no holes just the odd rough patch from day to day use. Both clasp ends of the opening are nicely aged tarnished and working well as is the central press clasp and the frame’s hinges. The original insides are intact with various pockets.
A super piece of kit – very usable.
Dimensions - Overall: Height 27cm x Width 47cm x Depth 22cm
