I am sure this Thermos Tin Mock Croc Briefcase lunchbox would have once been used to carry someone’s daily sustenance, but now it would make the most perfect desk tidy. It’s just wonderful, however feel free to pop the soup and crusty roll in to it and use it as it was originally intended!
The piece is made from pressed tin, a good colour, well-constructed and the shape copies those of the era. It’s in a very good condition considering its age around 1950s. There are no dents or dings, the fastening is still in very good working order as is the hinge on the back, the metal handle is firm, the interior clean and tidy and the lid is still perfectly dome shaped.
A very rare piece of nostalgia from Thermos which is now ready for a new life whether that be to hold pens, pencils and paper or a sausage sandwich!
