Fine Early 20th Century Wingback Armchair Ball and Claw Feet
A handsome looking chap decked out in a RAF blue jacquard fabric and sitting on a fine pair of dense ball and claw front feet surviving from around the 1920s.
We love this old boy - the stance is spot on, possessing an agreeable wide berth and those deep wings and stylish sweeping arms adding a big dosh of grandeur.
It’s standing pretty much as you see - firm, no repairs, no wobbles, arms tight and legs stable. The fabric is a little frayed at the end of the arms however otherwise fine and odourless and clean. You could use as is or consider new upholstery.
A good early 20th Century English armchair of good proportions.
