Ornate Victorian Revolving Bases from the Cruikshank Foundry Denny Stirlingshire 1 Remaining
Found in wonderful untouched condition these revolving cast iron seat/stool bases from the foundry of Cruikshank and Co surviving from the late 19th Century. We only have 1 left.
The decorative casting is just beautiful on these three legged bases. The finish is nice and crusty with speckles of blue and gold to the legs and a deep oxide red as a background colour. These are untouched apart from a light brush over.
As decorative pieces they are charming – useful for plonking a cuppa on, bedside tables, displaying your prized treasure or for sitting on.
Victorian industrial casting at its best, just stunning...
