Good Quality Victorian C1880 Pitch Pine Chest of Drawers
Surviving in splendid original condition and of very good quality is this Victorian chest of five drawers.
This one is of super quality and class. Firstly the grain of the pitch pine is wonderful, the untouched condition means the detailed brass handles and escutcheons are firmly in place, no moulding or plinth is missing and it’s weighty for its size. It’s of a pleasing form, feels great to touch and the best we have had for a while...
Condition wise its very good – untouched so expect day to day marks and gentle wear in the right places. The drawers are running smoothly, no repairs, faults and it smells fine.
A particularly good chest of drawers c1880.
Dimensions – Overall: Height 103cm x Width 112.5cm x Depth 53.5cm
