A rather handsome shop cupboard / display cabinet which before sitting in our old apartment came from a private girls school. The piece is in very good order showing agreeable signs of age, knocks and bruises but is firm and very solid.
The top half is finished with a mirrored back maybe to display school trophies and opens with four doors rather than the normal two, making it pretty eye-catching and also very useful- plenty of space for displaying. All the original glass is in good working order with no cracks.
The bottom half has two large cupboard doors topped with a large drawer which goes the width of the piece. Again plenty of space for whatever you wish to stash away…
It possesses a pleasing look, rather simple in style with straight lines, attractive but workman like, I would say very well made. It comes complete with three keys which seem to work after a little patience, sometimes they close, sometimes they do not, so please bear with that if you purchase.
It’s heavy but thankfully splits in two so not too much of a struggle to put into place!
Overall a stunning piece of furniture showing good craftsmanship and ready to go and fill at your whim.
