English Late Victorian Pine Work Bench with Metal Top
A cracking find straight out of a Jewellery Quarter Grade 2 Listed factory and pretty much as found, apart from a considerate clean down. This one has enjoyed a busy working life – lots of wear marks to the studded metal top, bumps and knocks to the thick dense workman like frame and the part we love the most, those thick chunky sticky out feet which look like they were once bolted to the factory floor.
It’s blessed with being of sensible proportions, of a good height and thus is usable in lots of spaces.
As mentioned it’s a true British workshop piece so expect lots of wear marks and a smashing patina. It’s sitting firm with no wobbles awaiting its second owner.
Late Victorian and getting more difficult to find.
