A sensible sized safe by maker Thomas Skidmore of Wolverhampton surviving in working order with a key.
Nice to see one with all the bits in place - brass makers emblem, handle and lock cover. This one has enjoyed a blue paint job in its time however we reckon it works well. It’s a good looking beast – very heavy of course and the perfect size for a side table and drinks cabinet. The inside does have a single drawer with original brass period handle intact. The key does work but is a more modern key.
