Early English 19th Century Occasional Armchair in Pleasing Original Condition
A somewhat appealing Georgian armchair presented in a gently age faded condition which possesses the ability to slip in nicely in a period setting having that lived in look. Nice wear to the arms and back...
C1820 - this one with its slender front turned legs and thin arms is a typical piece of its time. As you can see from the images it has a few good historic repairs which are well executed and as thus, the chair is ready for use. The seat may be a little flattened but again usable, however, you may wish to reupholster. The chair is firm and smells fine.
Not faultless however charming and great to plonk next to a desk, place in a hallway or drawing room.
Dimensions – Overall: Height 82.5cm x Width 55cm x Depth 58cm
Dimensions – Specifically the Seat: Height 45cm x Width 45cm x Depth 44cm
