A Good Pieff Epee Dining Table and Matching 6 Leather Chairs
Not seen very often and even less so in a matching set of six leather chairs and table. This set is from the Epee range by Pieff c1970 designed by Hillary Birkbeck.
This great looking set is presented in good vintage order with genuine day to day wear. The polished chrome chair frames echo beautifully the shape of the decent sized table. We love the curved chair backs and wide seats which are very comfortable. As you would expect with Pieff the quality is superb. The smoked glass top is neatly bevel edged. The leather hide is a deep cream colour which is nice and thick with double stitching and piping around the edges.
Condition wise its good – used but not abused. The smoked glass top is chip, crack and repair free. The leather is aging well with day to day marks and creasing, no holes or repairs. The frames are firm with no wobbles on both table and chairs. The seats are comfortable and odourless. We would say great vintage condition and very attractive.
