Unusual Attractive 1930s Vintage Oak Office Cabinet by Roneo
This one may have sat next to a desk or in a small typing pool with the shape echoing its era particularly well. Not something you see every day that’s for sure, proudly displaying its Roneo transfer on the front door and on its back.
There lots to get the juices going on this piece of vintage office furniture - the curved edges to the top, the lower drawer to one side, the pull out slide shelf to its right, the little drawer to the front, the fact its sitting on a decent set of wheels and of course its practical size, with bags of uses...
Workshop report – The cabinet is presented in good vintage order, the ball bearing driven castors are spinning fine. The drawers have been cleaned and waxed so running well. The original bakelite handles to the drawers and front cupboard are in situ. We would guess that the pull out slide has a historic pull replacement - but works fine. The interior is clean with the shelf intact. The top is age marked but nothing fresh and the frame having the odd knock and bump. Overall strong with no wobbles or sways.
