Guidance when purchasing
A little helpful guidance when purchasing from us
We are currently more than happy for you to visit us at Rangemore and view a piece in the flesh however time constraints and distances sometimes make this a little difficult so here are a few pointers to assist you when browsing our selection.
The condition and standing of older furniture can sometimes be a little blurbed in our choice of business so a little clarification should help. We always ensure that our pieces are fit for purpose unless otherwise mentioned in the description.
When something is noted as original and unrestored this means that the workshop will have checked it over, lightly cleaned if deemed necessary and ensure that the originality is not spoiled, blemished or lost. We will still ensure that the piece is ready for placing if desired unless specified in the description.
If a piece has enjoyed a session in our workshop the description will state this and it means that day to day off putting marks, areas of concern etc are remedied without losing its character. This does not mean it is new and may still have light wear etc.
When a Chair has enjoyed new upholstery it means that our professional upholstery team will have examined the piece before reupholstery, checked over springs etc then replaced any substandard materials reusing original if possible and then covered in a fabric. All chairs are checked for frame strength and also repaired if required. Once complete all chairs are inspected by Martina to ensure standards are achieved. We wish our new upholstered pieces to last a lifetime!
